Founded at Lincoln International Academy, SHEducation is dedicated to supporting Nicaraguan girls in their educational journey, especially in STEM areas like mathematics, and giving them the tools to grow academically and socially.

At Barrio Naciones Unidas, we lead weekly sessions in Math, English, and Spanish, creating a supportive space where girls can strengthen their skills, discover new interests, and pursue their passion for learning.

SHEducation
Our Mission
SHEducation is a club dedicated to empowering young girls through education. Our mission is to make education more accessible to young students who lack sufficient resources to meet their academic needs. We want to incentivize their thirst for knowledge and inspire them to pursue a higher degree of education. The club also places an emphasis on additional topics that serve educational purposes.

Through weekly sessions in Barrio Naciones Unidas, we enhance their skills in Math, English, and Spanish while creating tailored study plans to enrich their learning experiences. Our commitment is to inspire and uplift girls on their educational journey, ensuring they thrive in a nurturing environment.
VISITS TO
BARRIO
NACIONES UNIDAS
Each Tuesday, a group of 15+ volunteers visits “Barrio Naciones Unidas” to teach new topics and share new memories with the girls. Divided into stations, the girls work on concurrent topics based on their age group at school, ensuring a collaborative environment between SHEducation’s support and the school curriculum.
FUNDRAISERS
SHEducation also fundraises for the comedor, helping with their yearly bazaar and raising money and donations for school supplies, materials, and new improvements for the girls.
Big Events
SHEducation recently hosted a Christmas Bazaar, where our board helped deliver a wide variety of gifts provided by our students from the Lincoln International Academy. The girls were also able to enjoy breaking a "piñata" and eating their favorite food, pizza.
